The Happenings

okay, so about a half an hour ago i ate an apple. as i get a little closer to the core of the apple, there is a rotten part. nice. however, i hadnt seen it. so i take a nice big bite into the apple. after the taste hits my tongue, ya. so now i have a stomach ache and am making tea and going to eat saltine crackers.

also, my mom picked up papa murphys pizza and dropped it off on her way to the store. so- i figured the pizza wasnt spose to be cooked on the white,paper plate it comes on. just to make sure i called papa murphys. turned out it was spose to be cooked on there! you all know my accident prone-ness (specially with being burnt), i didnt want to set a fire in our oven. im pretty sure i would have burned myself if i had. i just had to make sure. i felt dumb calling. but! the cooking instructions werent clear about that. i partly blame the cooking instructions. plus, it makes me feel less dumb.

the kids, two of noelles friends, and myself went to go see a free movie at the theater today. we saw firehouse dog. i thought it was going to be a cartoon. i am glad that it was a normal one. it was pretty cute. it make me think of my dad the whole time though. kinda freaked me out a little bit. it is fire season right now. it started kind of early this year.

after the movie we went over to michaels. they are having this 40% off sale all week... i think we will be going back again tomorrow. i bought some new paints beacuse, the last time i used the ones i already had, half of them were dried up. so- i decided, time for new paints. i think i might get some more canvases tomorrow... im not sure.

this weekend we might go to a civil war dance. we havent been to one of those in so long! it should be fun. i know there are some of you who might be laughing... it is fun though! last time i didnt wear my civil war dress. i prolly wont this time either. it would take as much work fixing it as making a whole new one, if i were to wear it. also, i dont have time between now and this weekend to fix it or make a new one. i am pretty much looking forward to that. i might wear my dress from decades. i havent worn that for a long while.

Waz Good?

hello all,

i have been just hanging around the house today. it is nice. just doing the things that i need to do, and want to do. i created a pianofiles account. i am stoked about that! it is a sight where pianists exchange music files. so i emailed a bunch of people on there for some of their songs. i requested some good ones: more mae, jack johnson, paramore, eisley.... ya. i am pretty stoked. hopefully i will get a few songs by tomorrow. that would be epic. though, it may take a few days.

so i started to crochet a few days ago. i like it. it is entertaining. i cant explain it. like it doesnt look fun, but it is. lol! i am currently making a throw(which is pretty much a fancy term for a blanket). it is kind of amazing. i cant wait until it is done.

mackenzie left today. its sad. i think she is on her plane right now. but- i think she might be coming out again in august. it is not official though. we had some pretty good times! ill have to keep up with email, calling, and texting with her.

i decided that i wanted to learn as many cool art type craft stuff. that way, when i am older and have my own home and family, i can use (or build) a room as my art studio. i could even have a business that way! i am working on that. it kind of just came to me a few days ago. errgo- my learning to crochet (how do you spell that, " errgo?" ergo, errggo, erggo???? no clue. you all get it).

i hope my dad does come this summer. he said that he would let me know when his vacation time was. (he is a fireman... so- ya). i really want him too. pretty hardcorely.

other than all that, there is nothing much else to say.

Late Night Ahead

i am currently babysitting. my little charge, jackson, is asleep. so- i am not slacking. he is awesome by the way.

well, yesterday, when we were surfing, i was just coming up from being underwater and this huge wave slaps me right on the side of my face. i so wasnt ready for that one. usually, i like to jump up on top of the wave. you know, like normal... that didnt happen. it slapped me at just the right angle causing my ear to first hear no sound then to ring. today, i have swimmers ear. it is kinda driving me nuts. my mom put alcohol in it. i guess it helps to break down the salt water... dean explained it all scientific... however, it hasnt gone away. maybe it will drain while i am sleeping.

i am babysitting until 12or 1a.m. so i have a while...

i am wondering whether or not jordie went to summer hume....???

okay. it was 105 today. it was so hot! since we live on the coast, the houses dont include air conditioning. so we have all been sweating to death. the other day it was 108!!! oh my word. i cant wait until monday. it will be cooled down by then.

and i think that yesterday was an even better surfing day than the day before it... it makes me happy:-)

Sizzle up

today it was 95 degrees! psh. it was very warm. and unexpected. i forgot to check the weather all this week, so i had no idea. i guess there is a cold front coming this weekend. nice. it will be even better after this hot weather:-) the breeze is finally kicking in....

the beach was epic today! i think today was my best day surfing. no joke. i graduated:-) also, my wet suit tan is extremely ridiculous now.

tomorrow i have babysitting for like nine hours. ya. it will be good though. i am still trying to find my home occupation. working on it. so babysitting is very okay. it is only one little boy, who, is good!

also, i think we have someone coming for dinner tomorrow. which is kinda sad since i wont be there.

Holding the Line

okay the moon tuesday night was awesome. it was so bright!! all the lights in the house were off and my room was so bright!! with the blinds closed too! i ended up going to the living room and looking out the big windows. simply beautiful.

today we went surfing. it was so warm today! i have to say, my wet suit tan is ridiculous. seriously. it is so bad. there is literally nothing i can do about it. no matter the amount of sunblock i put on or dont put on. lol! i guess that just comes with the package.

well, i am wiped. so i will post tomorrow. maybe.

i am going surfing tomorrow morning again:-)

Catching Up

wow. that is all i can say. it just hit me this morning. there is so much that has to be finished up and figured out in the coming the last year of high school. a lot of big decisions.

as some of you may or may not know. my permit expired in february while i was away in tennessee. i was pretty bummed about that. really. so the options are, do the whole thing over again or wait until i am 18. my mom prefers me to have practice before i drive... so i think that we might be taking the "do it all over again" route.

i really wanted to get that done with before my dad came this summer (if indeed he is really coming here to visit me). that way i would be able to drive them around... take them to cool places. i guess being co-pilot isnt that big of a difference. it is just easier driving than giving directions.

then there are the college discussions and choices.

plus i need to figure out a way to earn money. that sounds so- i dunno, greedy in a way. i dont mean it like that at all. i cant really call it earning a living... cuz im not on my own. so i rally dont know what else to call it. i am going to putting together a list... i need to figure that out as soon as possible. i have quite a few ideas. it is just the choosing of an avenue that is the hard part. where to go..?? yes, i need to make the list. i kind of wanted to have my own business of sorts.

my parents are going to take me on a trip out of country for my graduation. it is time to do my research and figure out where i would want to go.

so there is a lot to think about:-)

we went surfing yesterday... it was nice! the weather was good. the wind kicked in at one point... so the waves blew out a bit. though, by that time we were done surfing. haha!!! while we were out surfing there was this seal and he was hanging out where we were. mackenzie was totally freaked out. i was too. i cant lie. i mean what if we made it mad at us... ya. we both screamed. it was very funny. then mackenzie got attacked by a crab. lol! i wasnt there for that one. but- i did laugh when i heard the story.

today is grandmas last day before she goes home. we all wanted her to get a summer job up here.... sadly that didnt happen=(

today, i believe, i will just be doing laundry and chores. which is very fine. i am very sore and tired from this week and a half of surfing, boarding, tag, hiking on the beach... so the hanging around the house is nice. i did hear something about the craft store. im not sure though, if anyone goes there i will for sure go.

we went surfing today. it was amazing. the weather was perfect and the waves were pretty good. i am still pretty stoked about it... it was a lot of fun.

mackenzie came back this tuesday and is staying for two weeks. so that is pretty cool. we have had some good times already.

the other day we boarded to starbucks, chilled there for a while, then went to the 99cent store, and last to target. when we got home, we watched princess bride and ate pb&j (i really love pb&j). then mom and elle went to run an errand while the rest of us got ready to go to a baseball game. it was my first baseball game. it was pretty fun. though, most the time i didnt understand the game. like id ask if the last hit was a good one cuz it went straight out to the field... and it wasnt( i sitll dont know why it wasnt). lol! i mean i could tell if they werent good hits if they went off to the side or straight up... so that was fun to go with the family=)

not sure what tomorrow will hold...

i found out that my stepmom is pregnant too. so i will get two new siblings at the end of this year. one in november and the other in december. though it is possible that they could both be in december... it will be amazing either way! also!! my mom is having a girl!!! i knew it was gonna be:-):-) i think my stepmom and dads baby will be a girl too... lainey thinks so too:-)

i did something very dumb. i wanted cheese so badly, that i had some. and now, i suffer. that and the possibility that i may be getting a stomach flu from my mom.... i dont know if its one or the other or both. but for now- i will blame it entirely on the cheese. it is so painful... it stinks cuz i wont be able to eat for 24hrs if it is cheese. literally. no lie.

im going to bed to sleep away the pain...

Time and Day

so beautiful:


today i printed two mae songs that i found online. im so excited! it took forever to find them. i have three total: we're so far away, prologue, and the sun and the moon. the last two are the ones i found this morning. i can play them, though there are a few areas that need smoothing. i was so stoked!!! my excitement level was intense. i think i could have sat at the piano all day today.

we just finished watching singin' in the rain. that movie is epic!! its so amazing to think that back then actors and actresses werent just actors and actresses. they could sing and dance(ballet, jazz, swing, tap, ballroom)... they had to! a lot of them were comedians as well as regular acting. maybe they still do now... the difference, i think, is that most actor (esses) learn those sort of things when they have to do a movie that requires it. then, it was just the thing to do.

geeze, every time i go out surfing, i get bruises. i dont understand how. mostly on my hip bones and knees. i dont force my weight with all my strength on the board... i just have no idea...

tomorrow, i think that we will be getting ready for the kids to come. you know, grocery shopping, cleaning, arranging.... all the normal stuff you do when company comes.

hello,

i havent done much lately. ive just been home doing school... all that good stuff.

its weird.... lately, im almost excited to go to bed. i dont know why. i even almost like going to bed as soon as i deem it not tooooo early. ive never gone to bed before nine. still, for some strange reason i like going to bed right now. it can be a little hard in the mornings to get up. however, i get up because i know i should and mom my prefers me to get up somewhat early. getting up early, though, ensures that ill be tired sooner! yesss=) i dont know why i am so retarded.

i really have nothing to talk about.

though, soon julia, kyle, devin, mackenzie and emily will be here! im excited for that. it is so fun to be all together again. with a few additions=) its fun to look back on all the times we had when we were all little kids. the crazy things we did, the things we said, the places we went, embarassing moments we shared. kyle, i think, is almost clueless of the life we had before the kids moved to utah. we tell stories all the time and he sits there in a... i almost cant describe his facial expression. he does laugh a lot though.

well, since i am just rambling i will get off before i get too boring.

Strawberry Festival

Im making up for my not posting today.







the strawberry festival was fun. i think we got there at around noon. haha! the first thing mom wanted to do was eat=P so we got four funnel cakes and ate them on the lawn across from the stand where we bought them. i have to say, i love funnel cake. however, too much makes me feel sick. to help that, i just had a bite of everyone elses. that way no one got sick! =) we spent the rest of the time walking around. i didnt get anything at the festival itself, but i did go into one of the shops in a.g. and got something there: two shells and a hankie. yup. i think they are pretty amazing. Noelle got her face painted, mom got a hat, dean got a bottle of wine, carter got a rubber band gun, and jake got a soda... thats all i think. i cant remember if grandma got anything. besides the funnel cake.

i saw a bunch of people i knew there! katie, two of the doody kids and mr doody, joanna, adam d. and his sister, sydney, a couple from church, and like three or four other people from the grace bible youth group that i dont remember their names. sad.

overall, it was a great time! i love those festivals...


Drive In:

on sunday we went to the drive in with the ways. we saw indiana jones and ironman. i think ironman was the better of the two. though neither really were all that great. indiana jones turned into this alien movie! psh. i did fall asleep during ironman.... so i dont even know how it ended. zoei, riss, noelle, and i fell asleep during ironman. on the floor, outside, in the cold. we had blankets but it was still cold. everyone else stayed in the cars. mr and mrs way had zachary quarantined in the car... he was sick=(

while i was laying outside, right before i fell asleep i looked up, and i could see the clouds moving. it was amazing!! they were moving so fast! there were pretty much only clouds and a few faint stars, then it was clear! it was amazing... i wish i could fall asleep to that every night.

Pismo:





yesterday we went to pismo with grandma... it was sad, mom had a lot to do at home as well as dean. soo, they were going to stay home and we were going to have fun. we loaded up the burban abd headed towards pismo. as soon as we turned the corner on wadsworth i saw the anders car. once i found a spot ( which took a while) and parked, i called them up. carrisa told us where they were and we met up. jake and i ran over to panchos to get noelle, carter, and him a wetsuit. even though the waves werent all that great i went out surfing. i caught a couple... it was way too flat. i had fun though! oOokay... i was out there and i am walking right... right, and i step on something very squishy and slimey. i screamed so badly and jumped up on my board. (the board was backwards by the way). for some reason, when i really wanted to stay on the board i kept almost falling off (i couldnt find my blance while i was in a panic). all the while i was screaming. after that, i was done. i got out and spent the rest of the time out of the water. carrisa, nathan and i went up to the pier for a while. i got a splinter in my heel. i go up on the pier all the time without shoes after ive been surfing! i guess that was just a lucky day. i had to get it out... i sat down and prolly looked really dumb, and got it out. soon after that we left.

as soon as i got home, dean asked me to trim the bushes out front. i really dont mind doing that! its not so bad. i get to be a perfectionist. its great. i still have a few more i need to do. i really wanted to finish them today... but... my hands are so sore and stiff that mom said i should wait a few days. it is pretty bad. i cant grip or squeeze anything... oh well. we have these hand clippers that are prolly older than i am... so they were hard to use... hopefully we get a new pair. hey! maybe thats what ill get dean for fathers day!

Today:

grandma just left and mom and dean went to the gym together.

i made coffee and am really enjoying it. since sunday coffee tastes extra good to me. i dunno why... but it does.

He Loves Me

i finished my school a little early today. so since then ive been cleaning. no i feel burnt out on cleaning. lol! i dont know what to do. i wanted to paint... however, im thinking its not a good idea. my grandma is coming again today, so the last thing i need to be doing is painting. i still have some things i could do around the house. im just lagging. psh. i need to wake up. woah! dinner! i forgot about that.

the strawberry festival is tomorrow. im soOo excited!! funnel cake=) mmmmMmmmm fun fun...

The Smell of Coffee

last night i babysat for the first time in a long time. i babysat for this new couple in church. they are both really nice. they have just moved here, so their house had no furnature. lol! i sat on the floor and watched movies all night. the little boy, jackson, was asleep even before i got there. i was there from 9:10p.m.-1:10a.m. they had gone out to see Prince Caspian.

so, this morning i am making a bigger pot of coffee than usual. i was able to sleep in a bit too=) if i go to bed late and sleep in, its weird, but i think it makes me more tired. i dunno. maybe im just imagining it.

a walk to remember

oh my word.

there are few movies that ive cried during and even fewer books... come to think of it, i dont think ive ever cried while reading a book. i did today though. i read a walk to remember in two days. i finished the last part today, crying.

it was such a sad book and the ending is so unclear. its also kind of happy, in a weird way. well, a sad happy. if that makes sense.

i just felt like letting you know that.

A Daisy

well, there isnt too much to say for today... cept fpr a few things.

after church our family (minus dean, again) went to the wrights for a going away party for hannah. she is going to be gone in nepal until sept. 2 ( i think it was). ill miss you hannah<3

after that, we went over to the ways house so zoei could get somethings so she could spend the night. we just finished watching "kate and leopold." after i get off here, i am going to put some music on her ipod from my itunes.

then tomorrow morning we are all going surfing. its zoeis first time. i hope i can be kind of helpful. im not like crazy good, as you know. it should be fun though.

later tomorrow evening, we will take her home.

other than that, not much.

im slowly getting a lot of glass bottles for my room. im going to fill them with sand, shells, and rocks. i had already had a few bottles filled. after i went to visit jordie, i got inspired to fill more=) i think i even have buttons in one bottle.

thats all can think to say. im super tired and my brain isnt working right.

night

my heart beat so hard, i think i cracked a rib

wow. i literaly just woke up (7:34am). i had a scary dream. ive never had a dream like this before.

i woke up and my heart felt like it was pounding against my rib cage (and for a few mintutes, that was the only sound i could her) and i was breathing fast and deep... took me a minute to calm down. even then my heart was still going crazy.

the beginning of my dream was really sad. i cried a lot. so did a few other people. it was horrible. i was crying because i felt like a horrible person!. the others were cryng because of me. all i wanted to do was fix it and make it better. i felt like i had no power to do so.

the next section of my dream everything was happy. everyone was happy. things seemed better for the most part.

after things were getting better, we went to meet some people at the beach. something happened though... my mom and i were driving seprate cars, i was in the volvo with jake, noelle, and carter. mom was in one of our other two cars, alone. i think her car broke down (or disappeared). we were driving on opposite sides of the freeway. one of those crazy bridges that lift you, what feels like, 3hundred thousdand feet from the gravel floor. we were on one of those. except different ones. so we were like half a mile apart on one of those things. so i was stopped on the other side, and she on the other.

a huge black guy in a scratchy, wool sweater and jeans was dropped off right infront of my car. all the kids had gotten out and i had been trying to keep them from getting run over and back in the car again. the guy came up to me and grabbed me. i screamed, asking him what he was doing and why. he told me it was very important. i then asked him what he wanted. all he said was he wanted a red bag. however, i didnt have a red bag. i had no idea what he wanting to do now that i had told him that. either he didnt believe me, or he didnt care. he slammed me to the gravel floor. all my sibs stood helpless. cept for jake who was kicking the man halfheartedly with an odd expression on his face. the whole time this was going i kept thinking, this cant be happening. i told myself to pull together and kick him or punch him in the throat (like i had been taught). in the end i found that i couldnt. he had a hold on me that felt like i had no way to defend myself. an arm came loose and i would swing at him. my mom was helpless on the other side. i figured she was calling the cops. in the end i woke up and never found out if i made it. its wierd, kind of remember a red bag in the beginning or middle of my dream...

Mother's Day and Such...

im so tired today. ive been tired a lot. i havent been sleeping all that well. i slept better last night but then i went to bed too late and got up too early. alas, im still tired. i slept so hard last night too!!! geeze. w/e

i got to see jordie friday and saturday... i went over to their house for maddies birthday party, then she came over to my house to spend the night. it was so amazing to see her! its been like forever and a day since i last saw her. i think it was at the nutcracker performance. and even then i only saw her for a short time. it was fun=)

so yesterday, from like 10:30a.m. i was at pismo. we went surfing in the morning and then we walked around for a while. the waves were really blown out... still, we had fun. for a while dean and i paddled out past the break and just sat out there. jake tried to get out there, however, he ended up just messing around on his board. hehe=) short legs, short arms, short... well, just short=P i dont think that we are going tomorrow. we usually go on mondays but, i dont know if we will. maybe later in the week.

mothers day was pretty good. well, i had fun. my grandma drove up. its awesome to have her here. she went to the beach with us yesterday too. she was gonna try to surf wit htme but then chickened out. haha! it was so lame. ill get her out next time. er, well, she said that she would next time. who knows if she really will. she is afraid that a shark is going to get her. ( never mind that is too shallow where we surf.... way to shallow. she is convinced). anyway, off subject. grandma and i took the volvo to church so that we could go pick up a few things for my mom. after church, i drove her around town... starbucks, the mall, albertsons.... then home for an amazing dinner. i think that both my mom and grandma had a good mothers day. i hope they did!

im so excited!! im going to go get my hair fixed on tuesday! its way to grown out and looks horrible. i really am gonna keep it short for a while. maybe al ong while. i was thinking evem a new style. i just dont know what style. ill prolly just keep the same style...

Saturday's Surfing Pics

noobie

okay, i am seriously excited right now. call me a noobie. i know i am. and i love it! i caught quite a few waves today. stood up and all. yup. im pretty happy with that right now. i think ill go again this weekend. maybe, during the week. who knows. i need to check the weather. my arm dislocated twice. oh man. the shock and pain. i wish that could be fixed. im sure there is a way. like quite using it for a while. psh ya. thas gonna happen. the same thing happened the other ten times. im always doing something that massivly involves my arms: ballet, surfing, falling on it in soccer (even though i dont do that anymore), vaccuming, other cleaning stuff. lol! okay its not that much. it feels like it though. its gonna be so sore tomorrow.

we ate at longboards today after surfing. it was so gewd! i like it better than splash. i think i got the hawaiian burger... so good.

man the kittens are getting so big! pretty soon, they will be going to homes=( i wish they didnt have too. they are all so cute! (arent they always though....) if i looked at it that way, we would be infested with cats.

other than that not much. school and chores. then piano and guitar. yuppers, thats it.

went surfing

well, i went surfing for the first time since like 9th or 8th grade. it was awesome! i really hope i dont suck for long and will be able to ride soon. man! just sitting on the board without putting your hands on it to steady yourself, is kinna hard. the waves were really flat so- it wasnt easy to catch a wave. there werent many other surfers out. the ones that were out, werent catching waves either. still, i had a lot of fun and am really tired. haha! i seriously lack the upper body strength. i got my feet on the board once, then fell. all the other times, my arms wouldnt paddle strong or hard enough to catch another one. that and the waves werent really good anyway.

thats pretty much all that we did today.

everyone else was up on the beach chillin. once, nathan and i got really far over, so my mom and dean walked over to where we were and waited there till we noticed. i think cilla and jake were in the water most of the time too. i think we are all going again this next week. so that will be fosheezy.

a look into another day in time

hello all,

we are home from socal now. we have been for a few days. a lot has gone on and yet, not that much has gone on.

lets see... yesterday we went to prissys 10th birthday party. we hung out there for a bit. while we were there, nathan and i planned a surfing trip... i think we are going this saturday. he is gonna teach me to surf. its my goal to learn before we move. so if we ever come and visit, or are anywhere there is surf, i can=)i wanted to learn a long time ago.. but somehow- that never panned out.

our cousin brea was coming up to stay with us for a few days (starting yesterday). so by the time we were done with prissys birthday party, she was at our house. she had planned to stay for a few days but had to leave, unexpectedly, today.

now is where today comes into type. today was moms day to teach jakes science co-op. so for a while in the morning we cleaned house and got ready for guests. the co-op started and ended. i even did the experiment. haha! i have a 13 1/2 (i think they measured it in cups?? not sure) lung capacity. woop woop for me=P i dont know where that is on the normal lung capacity rate, er level... something like that.

pretty much as soon as the co-op was over, brea left. it was sad. only a 24 hr stay. we didnt even get to do anything fun!

i finished up school for the day... after i had finished that, i had planned on reading the book i borrowed from nathan, 'House,' but- i havent yet. the book is really good so far. totally something i have never read before. it was written by frank peretti and ted decker. usually not my style of book. however, it is gewd.

currently, my uncle chris just got here like 30 an hour ago. he has some work in pismo tomorrow. so hes gonna stay with us for the night (as far as i know). he might be staying longer. i havent totally been downloaded yet=)

we are here in socal right now. just visiting family and friends. we even brought mommy cat and the kittens with us, cuz we would be gone so long... no clue when we are going home. haha!

i have a few things that need prayer for... my uncle is having a hard time. really really hard time. my mom is pregnant, and we would all love to have prayer for her! as all my friends know our history in that area, please pray for her and baby. they are both doing fine right now! which is a blessing... and if you all could pray for me personally... i would be so thankful to you all!

ive just been home mostly. working on school, helping around the house (entailing: cooking, cleaning, babysitting... and other house works), and spent some time with some friends this last weekend. it was pretty awesomely fun. we just hung out together. at one point carrisa and i went to starbucks and the moms and three of the kids went to the homeschool book fair. a little later, carissa, nathan, and myself went to the homeschool fair to see what was going on with our family there. there was a lot of procrastination getting that far in decisions of what to do=) while we were there i got see carl and a few other friends! so that was pretty cool. in the end, we all (thirteen al together) ended up at the Anders having dinner and talking for a long while! nathan and i messed around on the guitars a bit then a few of us sat on the pourch talking. haha! it was eleven at night before we went home! it didnt even feel like eleven at night. it was so weird.

other than that, i havent been busy with much. i have, however, been working on writing more songs. i eventually want to record them... but that might take a while. i have finished two song on the piano. they need lyrics and guitar added still. annddd there are two still in the works, on the piano.

oh! i was so excited about this! jon foreman has three of his new single albums out: spring, fall, and winter. summer will be coming out at some point. the songs are amazing! music and lyrics!

well, theses last few fays have been kind of amazing.

tuesday:
we worked till lunch then went over to the printers. it was so awesome to see all these things being printed! oh my word. i really have to add pictures this time.
after we went there, we went over to walmart and big lots. i got a vitamin water at walmart. they were one dollar! i havent seen them that cheap. it made me kind of happy=D and we played jello the whole ride home. which is amazing here, since we live out in the country, so the road are really curvey.

wednesday:
we finised another day of work! and caught up the whole company! yesss... so we have hardly anything to do. yesterday, was the lunar ecplipse. (sp?) hannah, lisa, amanda, and psalmody and i, stood out on the balcony and watched the moon and stars disapear. so so incredable. oh my. once the sky went dark, we all went inside and played pit. it was my first time playing, and let me tell you, it has become one of my favorite games. haha! its kind of a loud game. psalmody is gonna platt braide my hair one night. i think this weekend. im excited. i had that done when i was like 8, for summer one year.

today:
the day isnt over yet. its only lunch time. but- the day has started off amazingly! i got my package from my mom. and- she is pretty much amazing! she was amazing anyway. but- you know what i mean. AND since we caught up everything yesterday, we have seriously nothing to do today. haha! no joke.

well, il add on laters i think. i have to go eat.

i think i decided what my favorite jobs are here in the office. i like restocking, and orders. the copmuter stuff is cool too. its pretty chill. i just decided that those were my favorite. lol!

so all ive just been in the office and hanging with all the girls and kids. its been chill. which is nice since ive been sick.

i did the scariest thing ever today! well, im sure i could have done something more scary but- you know what i mean. okay, there is an abondoned house up the street. and well, i went in it today. i didnt go alone! i went with amanda. we went in together. it was so trippy. okay, so on the outside there are two front doors. one on either side of the house. but when we went in where the living room was, there were no doors in the corners, but a door in the middle! so so weird! so there are three false doors!! in one of the pictures i took, you can see like a line where the doors would have been; the two doors, that look like they lead inside from the outside... ya. and there is no visable line on the outside, for the one in the middle of the wall on the inside. so weird! after we were done, we kinna ran out. haha! cuz we noticed a hole in the ceiling, and it was scary.

hello all! sorry for not posting about these picturess=) i was trying to upload more, but the computer wouldnt let me. so- the pictures of me are with the other amanda. we have matching beanies that hannah made. twinners=)
then theres the picture of the office, and the little heater that heats the office. or at least heats one side of the office. haha! uless we turn it up to like 100 degrees then the heat reaches the other side... mrs campbell usually turns it down to 63, no matter what heat we have it up to. we could have it at 65 and she would still turn it down. haha!

and,then,before,after...& the mystery smell.

so ive had a pretty busy day.... this morning, i finished up the thank you letters. they had been so backed up from previous months that it took me two days and a morning to finish them. then i answered the phones for a while, taking orders and fixing accounts. after that i moved on to doing pay pal, which is online orders. so i just print them out then package and mail them. i added the orders i had done to the "book", then i started squirrel mail. which is where i print out people with three or more kids under th age of 10, OR they have requested more than one magazine, OR they have a prayer request, OR all listed previous. if they dont have any of those i just write their name on a mailing lable, slide it in with a magazine, seal it, and mail it. also if the the requests are from outta country i have to look up the above rubies head quaters there, find their email, then forward the message to them. lol! wow, thats very detailed of me....

we may go over to vanges tonight. im not sure. lol! we shall see....

i think im getting sick again... not fun. see all four of us girls sleep in one room. as you saw in the pick a few posts ago.... so when one of us gets sick, we breathe in the diseased (dont think thats a word, so i just made it one) air. so when one gets sick, it tends to circulate. yay! hannah was just sick, and before that amanda and i, before that carrie was sick... so yes im sure you get the pattern. lol! AND nrs. campbell is sick.

okay so- in the office we kept getting whiffs of some disgusting smell. we looked through the cupboard where the smell was coming from,and couldnt find anything!!! so for a week and a half we just went on dealing with the gross smell. we just couldnt figure it out! then today, the smell got stronger, someone calls out my name, and i turn around to see lisa holding a plastic bag. i look at her and then amanda says," they are sardines." rotten sardines were stinking up our office. how they got put in the supply cupbord, i have no idea.

tornadoes

last night there was a tornado. it went right through the town that i am living in. i was so freaked out! needless to say, i didnt sleep well last night. at all. a house right next to us got hit. so, we werent hit specifically. we did, however, get crazy wind, hardcore rain, and massive thunder and lightning. AND we lost power. its so sad, there are 48 reported deaths in a 60 mile radius from us.

the weather all over the place is crazy. i got on weather.com today... wow. you guys should check that out (if you already havent). yay! i hear more wind, thunder and rain.... oh my. the storm is gonna be over in this area again today, getting worse at night.

other than that, nothing is really going on. we'll just be down in the office again today. ill most likely be on weather channels on lunch break. oh ya! we might go into town for a few things... if the weather isnt too bad.

hey everyone!
sorry ive been lazy about posting... hehe.
pretty much just been down in the office working eveyday. lol! which is what im here for. mostly ive been writing a lot of encouragement letters. they were backed up from like months ago, so there were a lot to write.
for my birthday (yesterday) i went with my friend (the other amanda) and her mom, sister, and friend into franklin. we all went out to sushi and thai food. it was so so so so good! though. i think i need to take them one more time, to real sushi. cuz all they had was a roll with no REAL raw fish. lol! they liked that though. amanda has agreed to eat the hard core stuff=) after that we all went to the hotel they were staying at, and hung out. all we did there was watch tlc shows like 'what not to wear' and 'say yes to the dress' it was pretty cool. the following morning we went to the franklin mall. they have some GEWD stores there. it was fun! although all the girls here say that the nashville mall is better. but- im pretty satisfied with the franklin mall. its better than the santa maria mall. thats for sure. i think that any mall is better than the santa marias.

okay. scary story. this just happened like ten minutes ago. we were coming home from being in town agian. it was one of the other g irls, lisa, birthday. so we surprised her and took her out to ice cream. then we get lost on the way home for 45 minutes. no joke. in the dark too. everything looks different in the dark. after all that, we get on the road to home, and some guy is following us. literally! i know mom you migjht think that we were are being dramatic. hahahaha! but for sure. he drove past us. then we turned into the wrong drive way, so he turned around and like stopped right next to our car as we backed up. so by then we were freaked. then! he turns around and sticks his head outr the window, and just looke at us. nothing came out of his mouth. i dont think he was lost or needed directions somewhere. so i told the driver ( amanda holbrook) to not pull into our REAL driveway. so we passed it then turned around. he had turned around with us. then back around again and was just sitting there. we pulled into pearls driveway and took the long way to our house. then literally ran inside. i was hanging onto one of my shoes with my toes.... seriously. it was scary. uh! not. fun.
